Nai is the brain child of Gethin Jones, and one of his oldest friends, Sion Tudur - both have nephews (“nai” in Welsh) who are autistic.

When I told someone that I preferred to be alone, they said to me, “You like being alone.” I think there is a difference between wanting to be alone and liking being alone, and there is also a difference between wanting to be alone now and wanting to be alone forever.
There are more than 200,000 school-age autistic children in England. When they’re at school they deserve dignity, respect and support from staff who are equipped to meet their needs. Whatever a child’s behaviour, wherever they’re at school, there is no excuse for abuse. (2/2)
