On top of our NZ Venison and lamb, we have now added New Zealand grass fed beef. While grass fed beef is not that popular in China, it fits well within our product range. Initial feedback has been positive and we plan to expand our WeChat shop product range over time.

Some great points here!!

1. Over on linkedin the annointed ones announce their latest vision! 2. WWF launches its newest effort to reduce the quality of human nutrition! All in the name of "saving the planet". 3. And based on weak science, just as such advice has always been. 4. They seem to have no…

This is interesting as the Green energy future will need a lot more mining.

Orders of magnitude: coal vs. lithium.

National Holidays (1st to 7th October) have just kicked off. So had one of those classic “wet lunches” yesterday, beer and lamb skewers!! Can not go wrong.

Interesting

How did the US invent solar power and dominate it for 60 years, before giving it up to China over the past decade? The answer is, IMO, quite different to the stories we have told ourselves in recent years. And it has important lessons for the future.🧵 bloomberg.com/graphics/2024-…

"If we can get the 'grass fed' message across effectively, there is a real opportunity for us to steal a march on the rest of the market in that space," he says. Really? Its about telling our story better.... I say what a load of bullshit. ruralnewsgroup.co.nz/rural-news/rur…

Posted this on LinkedIn about how much of a waste of time (and NZ farmers $$) the Taste Pure Nature marketing has been in Shanghai. And they plan to continue with the program..... linkedin.com/feed/update/ur…

Was a bit windy today, but now back to normal. Some places have a bit of a clean up but back out and about tomorrow!!

The winds are roaring through #Shanghai's People's Square as #TyphoonBebinca makes its presence known!

The biggest Thypoon in 70 years is currently hitting Shanghai. It’s the middle day of a 3 day holiday and everyone is at home (a bit like COVID!!). Will be back to normal tomorrow, hopefully!!

Typhoon Bebinca made landfall near Lingang, Pudong, Shanghai at 7:30 am today. With wind speeds of 42m/s (level 14), it's now the strongest typhoon to hit Shanghai since 1949. #TyphoonBebinca
