#ThrowbackThursday ⏪⏪⏪ What a difference 10 months makes. The progress on the flyover bridge from the future Business Loop 81 (existing I-81) northbound to I-81 northbound (existing I-481) speaks for itself.
Another #WorkHardWednesday coming at you! 💪 Demolition of the Bear Street bridge over existing I-81 is well underway. Once crews remove the bridge deck, the steel beams will be removed, making way for construction of a longer bridge to fit over the expanded Business Loop 81.
The City of Syracuse's first-ever roundabout opened on East Brighton Avenue in September and there are more to come as we continue work on the I-81 Viaduct Project.
FACT: Roundabouts are safer. Traditional intersections: 32 conflict points between cars, 24 with pedestrians. Roundabouts: just 8 of each. #RoundaboutsVsIntersections
