Essentially 3 shut outs in a row w/o Trouba. Was joking before but now I’m serious. How can you insert Trouba back into the lineup & at the same time tell me winning is your main priority? Idc how unlikely scratching him is bc of the C & his contract its whats best for this team
He spent more assets at the deadline just to plug holes that he created with UFAs… Then this year he made no attempt to get faster knowing who your potential first round opponent is and what they did to you in the regular season. He instead traded for a lifeless corpse.
Drury is being left out of most of the criticism I see: Trading Pavel Buchnevich an emerging 2way first line winger for absolutely nothing who then signs for less than 6M is his horrible blunder and one of the worst moves any GM has made as far as setting back a contending team…
Maybe next year Drury won’t punt multiple games that cost them home ice in Game 7 so they can trade for a washed up winger
