Mrs K's Yr 8's had an great afternoon using their homemade clinometers to measure the heights of the buildings around the school.
After a stimulating treasure hunt and a beach ball game on fractions, decimals and percentages, Year 7s @NWC_Maths got introduced to key mathematical functions and their graphs, whilst warming up for the upcoming sports day @NorthwoodGDST.

Year 9 students @NorthwoodGDST have been tossing the maths ball to one another, answering the questions found on the ball to celebrate the completion of the end-of-year exams.
Great presentation from Professor Heather King @crestem_kcl on inclusion in STEM and applying the Science Capital approaches to teaching and learning together with students, something I thoroughly enjoy @NWC_Maths!
Lovely year 12 mathematicians @NorthwoodGDST have been supporting year 7s with their revision in mathematics. Lots of exam-style questions were attempted on maxi whiteboards and in exercise books. You can do this, year 7s! 💪🧮✍️
