An HbA1c of 6.5% = 48mmol/mol. This is target in UK for T1s to stay below, which 87% do NOT achieve following standard advice (eat what you want & cover it with more insulin). Above 48, 12x risk of eye & kidney disease 90% who eat a real food very low carb diet do get below 48

Canola oil has a fat profile that is rather similar to olive oil, with an even flatter Omega 6 : Omega 3 ratio. Canola oil is food. It is oil from a plant. It is fairly similar to olive oil and avocado oil, which no one has a problem with.
