Term 3 Highlight: A total of 335 Year 9 from Sunraysia region students participated in Get VET Presentations facilitated by Northern Mallee LLEN in partnership with the Skills and Jobs Centre and SuniTAFE throughout Term 3 to gain information about VET Career Pathways.

2nd September: Years 10, 11, and 12 students from Mildura Specialist School attended an Industry Visit at SuniTAFE's Mildura Campus as part of their study program. The visit included a guest presentation, a tour of the automotive, beauty, hospitality, and library facilities.

Over the Term 3, Year 10, 11 and 12 students at Mildura Specialist School attended Mock Interviews on the 8th and 21st of August, with industry guest interviewers from the Skills and Jobs Centre and SuniTAFE as part of the Job Readiness training delivered by NMLLEN.

Dusty Wilson from Indie School, Mildura, has completed his Structured Workplace Learning Placement with the Mildura Rural City Council Parks and Gardens. Coordinated by MLLEN, the placement has sparked Dusty's interest in pursuing a career as an Australian Apprentice in the area.
