My high school student counselor told me children of teen moms only turn out to be teen moms ✅ BS and first-generation college graduate ✅ PharmD ✅ PGY1 (pending) ✅ PGY2 in Critical Care (pending) ❌ babies

Everyone talks about the importance of having a professional mentor, but if you really want to get motivated, get yourself a professional nemesis. 😏

Anyone pushing VPA yet? Are you pushing up to 3g?

Polling other institutions- where are free water flushes located in your EHR? Do your RNs have to barcode scan?

Won’t be the same without our CTM 🥺A true leader within NMH and critical care who positively shaped my career 💕

Closed a huge chapter of my life Friday w/ my last day @NorthwesternMed - lucky to have worked, learned, & become a better person alongside some of the best. Here’s to the next chapter! 🥰💜 will always bleed purple!

What about instead of assuming that every order you write as a PGY-1 is perfectly correct, you assumed that any question from an experienced pharmacist probably deserves a second look and thoughtful answer?

Earlier Time to Achieve Target Systolic Blood Pressure to <140 is associated with reduced risk of hematoma expansion and better functional outcomes. The effect is most prominent when baseline ICH volume is >10 ml. THE TIME IS NOW for #CodeICH ahajournals.org/doi/abs/10.116…

1/ Isn't it just the worse when a patient presents w/ #AMS & the MRI has some weird lesion? Or worse, no lesion at all? How do you approach these challenging cases? 💕talking through a case with guys at @icuscenarios! 🔗👇 An accompanying #tweetorial @MedTweetorials

The patient is admitted to the ICU because they just won't wake up. The exam is non-focal, the clues sparse. What do you do? @caseyalbin walks us through it in great detail and insight in this absolutely awesome episode. icuscenarios.com/episode-55-und… #medtwitter #FOAMcc #neurocrit

In the INSPIRES trial, new stroke occurred in 7% of patients who received clopidogrel–aspirin and in 9% who received only aspirin up to 72 hours after atherothrombotic stroke. Bleeding incidence was low but higher with dual antiplatelet treatment. nej.md/47f7cy4

My residency program @SinaiFamilyMed has been defunded by @MountSinaiNYC This is clearly driven by profit as our patients are under and uninsured. This program is vital to the primary care landscape in NYC and must be saved. Please sign and share docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…

Special K for all units? Let us know what you all do ⬇️⬇️⬇️ #TwitteRx

Question for #PharmICU Twitter 🌎: Does your institution allow sub-anesthetic ketamine infusions for pain management on general medicine floors or do you mandate ICU admission? 💉 ⭐️ Bonus: do you have a protocol for floor use? @SCCM_CPP @ASHPOfficial @PharmacyToDose
