I agree with the NFU about growing more food at home. The U.K. is an unusual country that spends most of its farming subsidies on stopping people growing food or on helping them exit farming.
#UK food prices are set to rise by up to 50% as cost of wheat soars, whilst farmers are forced to throw away cucumbers, peppers, aubergine, etc, because the lazy English won’t pick veg🤷♂️ The problem is so serious #NFU Union wants Govt to form taskforce to address it.
