This "man mountain" is Colour Sergeant "Red" Smith, who served in all three regular battalions of the Royal Anglian Regiment in his service career. Anyone have any background of the time and place for this throwback photo? #TBT #throwback #royalanglian #britisharmy #soldier

As we approach Remembrance Sunday, it is always a good time for reflection and remember those we have lost. This is the programme from the archives of an event at Chelmsford Cathedral to remember 100 years in 2008 since the end of WW1. #remembrance #royalanglian #soldier

The Curator found this lovely book. It contains pictures and short descriptions of the history of conflicts the 2nd Battalion were involved with. The last pages were interesting with the roll of honour and book of remembrance, for the entire Regiment. #remembrance #royalanglian
