We need to stop talking about SAF having an incentive to eradicate the RSF. Yes, that's what the بلابس crowd hopes for, but in truth, SAF is more likely to stop at a partial victory, where they control Khartoum and Gezira.

In South #Darfur, shamefully little is done for conflict-displaced people—met many #war widows and children who had no #shelter. We’re squeezing budgets to help a few thousand more people now in El Sharif IDP camp, for instance, but really need more donors to mobilise resources.

Our teams & partners still striving to help across #Sudan 🇸🇩. Last week 1000 more families displaced by war in South #Darfur received relief items, now totalling 3000 families there supported thanks to Swedish 🇸🇪 @Sida ~ So far in 2024 we’ve assisted over 780,000 people in Sudan

We’ve now helped more than a million people in #humanitarian need in 🇸🇩 #Sudan so far this year. I wish we didn’t need to, but glad we have. It’s been heavy, but we’ll keep lifting! ~ Proud of team & partners, grateful for donor & peer support + in awe of 🇸🇩ese selflessness

Would be great to see protective equipment donated to Sudanese journalists reporting on the ground. If any organisations are interested in helping - DM me.

We crossed Halfaya Bridge into newly-liberated areas in Khartoum Bahri where civilians are emerging from a year and a half long RSF seige Their new relief is underpinned by deep horror - an ongoing reality for thousands still trapped in Sudan's capital. news.sky.com/story/sudan-fo…

The sudan solidarity collective will be making a one-time donation to HRRDS_Sudan for their work in the Nuba Mountains and is hoping to develop a more sustained partnership with them in the future. In the meantime, please donate if you can! They are lead by trusted ppl. Thank you

The people of the Nuba Mountains are being INTENTIONALLY STARVED by the Sudanese state/SAF. This area is not under RSF control but is managed by the long-standing resistance group, SPLM-N. Punishing civilians in an attempt to pressure a resistance group to support you is inhumane…

#Sudan has >10x people in #humanitarian need than #Gaza, but a fraction of its media & diplo attention + 31% less funding. Took 500+ days of #war to get senior UN officials to Port Sudan; still no visits to Khartoum, Darfur … Systemic bias on who is seen & who remains invisible
