As I look forward to #Pathaan as I do every #ShahRukhKhan𓀠 movie, here is him with my book on the non-violent Pathans of the Khudai khimatgar movement 1930-1947. SRK's father was a member. (Thanks @ReallySwara !) Inshallah, one day we will have a film on those unsung heroes too!

The Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has become a convenient alibi—distracting election monitoring and disrupting routine governance. We don’t need the MCC; we need an Election Commission with a spine to enforce existing laws. If we don’t want to end up like our neighbors, where every…

Today, Yogendra Yadav was attacked by Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi hooligans. Usually, people who are unable to support their argument with logic turn to violence. And this is exactly what happened. People should remember, "Do not raise your voice; improve your argument."

A perfectly peaceful public meeting, with many women in attendance, celebrating the Indian Constitution during an election campaign, is disrupted by goons. @_YogendraYadav and other speakers are escorted away by the police, not the disruptors. Does this look like a democracy?
