Very insightful talk by Prof. Kirsi Pietiläinen in #ECO2023 showing mitochondrial dysfunction exists in adipose tissue in obesity, and this worsens with dieting, while bariatric surgery improves these mitochondrial functions (OXPHOS). @EASOobesity
