Gopher snakes are a common site in the summer sunning themselves our trails. With their similar markings they are often mistaken for rattlesnakes, but they aren't venomous. Watch this one make its way across the road. youtube.com/watch?v=yMJEUp… #wildlife #snakes #summer

The after-school kids found this robin's nest. The chicks fledged the same week as our spring programs ended. It was a joy to watch both these bird and human youngsters grow this spring. We'll miss them and we wish them safe journeys! #outdooreducation #natureplay #wildlife #bird
