Shoutout to @KahnElementary for opening their doors to 1st year principals during #NewPrincipalsAcademy today. We got to see the joy of reading through a book tasting, rich discussions in math, and STEM in action during library time!

Today we were able to surprise our Kindergarteners with the “All Kids Bike” program! A special thank you to HDR for making it possible to fund this project! Also, thank you to Principal Rojas for introducing @WinnetkaDISD to this amazing organization!! 💜🚲

Friday we had ‘Coffee with the Principal’ and had the honor of being presented w/ the Trustee Award for best attendance in District 7 from April-May. This is a true testament to the students’ commitment to attendance! Receiving the award: @WinnetkaDISD AP and Data Controller 🏆

One of our school goals is to increase student outcomes on extended constructed responses. Today, I saw some amazing systems in place to ensure student growth and success in writing. So proud of the intentionality from our @WinnetkaDISD teachers! 🤩
