Yesterday rocked!We loved having @mrsrazoCFISD join our 1st grade planning. We also enjoyed celebrating our teachers with a cold drink. Then in the evening we had the Book Fair AND our “Beauty of McGown” event was OWL-mazing.The cute earrings are from Mrs. DMG!#OwlAboutTheBest

I took our class to look at our chicks and got surprised by a guinea pig! We discussed which one was oviparous and which was viviparous! Such a fun, real life application😊 #owlaboutthebest #CFISDspirit

Our egg and best demo was a hit! Kids loved learning about the different types of eggs and nests. They were so excited about testing objects to see if they roll like eggs🥚
We’ve been learning about tally marks and graphing this week! Students got to vote on different topics. “1, 2, 3, 4, 5 closes the door…”
Students made predictions about how many drops of water a penny would hold and then tested their hypothesis! So much fun in science today👩🏼🔬👨🏽🔬
