I have just discovered that my Student Loans will be paid off in 1 year. This is a good feeling.
The last weekend of the summer holidays (in Scotland) is here. Time to reflect on a lovely holiday and prepare for the return to work. I am entering my first full school year as PT, taking on leadership of Nursery to P4 and teaching my first ever multi-composite class of P1-4.
What a difference a year makes. August 7th 2023 and 2024. Hope everyone has had a fabulous summer break.

I had a lovely visit to my old school today @MoncreiffePS and got, what can only be described as, a rockstar welcome! Closest I’ll ever come to that level of fame and it made me feel very warm and happy! The school looks fab after recent paintwork. ❤️
Our lovely P7s enjoying a special leavers meal out with Mr Loudon and Mr Dowling at the Kaoglen Restaurant in Kirkmichael. Mocktails, good food and great company. Thanks to the PTA for arranging this. #Celebrate.
We are very fortunate to have a community fire service on our doorstep that is keen to develop links with the school. Thank you to Gary and Angie for providing a full day of training to our P6/7 pupils including; fire safety, water safety and first aid. #Community
My darling boy turns 2 on Tuesday and we have his little party tomorrow. I decided I wanted to try and make his cake and this was me tonight and the final product. Not bad for a first attempt.
