I grew up with yorubas and I started speaking Yoruba wayy before my language, I was literally raised by a community. If you stress me then and even now those guys would defend me… This bigotry I’m seeing lately doesn’t apply to all yorubas.
I schooled in Ekiti. I town I know no one. A family received me and gave me free accommodation for the 6 years (4 years course + strike + carry over) I stayed there. Till today they are my family and they call me their Igbo son and brother.
Class and poise is in simplicity, you want to look classy but you over do your makeup, wear heels you can't comfortably walk on, wear skin tight body con dresses and be walking like you are trying to use your nyash to hold a pad from falling... Where is the class in that?
