Last night Charles Rucker was sworn in as an At-Large Park Commissioner. He was chosen by Park Commissioners at a public meeting on Nov. 13 after former Commissioner Alicia D. Crudup resigned due to a move outside Minneapolis. minneapolisparks.org/news/2023/11/1…

Today Gov. Walz signed the state infrastructure bill into law on West River Parkway Regional Trail. It helps fund the Grand Rounds Missing Link, a new Cedar-Riverside rec center and improvements for the regional trail system. We appreciate the support for our parks and trails!
