I dunno about y’all, but I could really use a stack of pancakes with some huckleberry syrup right now. However, if your nervous system happens to be dysregulated today, smaller meals will help you more than binging on junk. get protein and carbs, and HYDRATE.

Like a stack of pancakes, look at this lenticular clouds over Mount Shasta right now! #CAwx

This is absolutely insane. Lewotobi’s eruption threw lava bombs and/or volcanic projectiles as far away as 11,000 METERS or 6.84 miles away per PVMBG.

AND I BUILT MYSELF BACK UP EVEN MORE GORGEOUS THAN BEFORE! 🤩

All volcanoes in California were at normal levels of activity last week. usgs.gov/programs/VHP/v… Did you know that Mount St. Helens wasn't the only Cascade volcano to collapse? Mount Shasta did the same 300,000 years ago, forming the huge hummocks in the valley to its north.

🗺️🔥Ever wonder how a wildfire gets its name? New fires are first assigned a number when they're called in to the dispatch center. Once firefighters are on scene they will name the fire based on a nearby geographical feature.

A phreatic explosion is triggered by magma interacting with water. A hydrothermal explosion is water flashing to steam, with no magmatic involvement.
