I find Notorious more gripping, the characters more relatable, the motivation and plot more grounded. That being said, North by Norrthwrst is flawless, beautiful, entertainment.

Consider yourself warned that TCM is running political movies next month, and I might make some uncomfortable in my comments about movies or politics but I do so from a place of respect and appre iation of cinema as well as the U.S.
In the run-up to the election, TCM is screening political films next month. Now those of you who follow me for movies but are annoyed by my politics, and those of you who follow me for politics but are annoyed by my movie posts, can all be annoyed together.
Another nerve-wrackinh choice, but I went for whit, dialogue, and the joy of the romantic comedy despite NXNW probably being my favorite Hitchcock film (with Notorious and Rear Window vying heavily for first). Don't make me choose between those three for first, ever.
