Spooky cream puffs for @CworthDynamics birthday! When your birthday is October, Friday the 13th, you have to lean into it.
Birthday cake request, "Victorian Funeral." Cameos are molded candy melt, poured and colored/antiqued/finished by @CworthDynamics
While the biscuit should have had more surface area for squishing, homemade marshmallows are fantastic and Hershey's is trash. I said what I said.
Surprise pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for @rebeccawatson's birthday. The answer to life, the universe, and everything is obviously cupcakes.
Birthday request by @CworthDynamics was for cream puffs instead of birthday cake. I bumped it up a bit with Choux au Craquelin with Crème Pâtissière (pastry cream). I'm still not convinced craquelin is not black magic. Happy birthday, Sean!
That's pretty much how it started and how it's going.
My first reaction when receiving news of any kind from a friend or loved one is to make them a pie. Promotion? Pie. Breakup? Pie. Having a baby? Pie. Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women? You guessed it, pie.
It's Muffin Mednesday! Had some frozen blackberries and frozen cranberries left over from various projects, so I put them in a muffin together. Stay tuned for edibility, but they look and smell delicious!
I don't know what's happening, but I want in.

My contribution to this year's @SiliConSJ is bringing @donttrythis and the @testedcom crew some gingersnaps at their booth. After @CworthDynamics checked them for quality, of course.
Chicken pot pie! Went with a whole wheat crust, which holds up better against soggy filling, and adds a nuttier flavor.
Had an order for a Berry Chantilly Cake with succulent decorations, with special guest @Aeyoqen for a decorating team up! The world is terrible, but at least there's cake.
Let's call them "Polynesian" cookies. Replaced the caramel with dulce de leche for a fun new flavor profile! Too much effort for cookies, but glad I tried it once.
