Had a decent day of teacher in-service. Figured out flip.com a bit! I think it will benefit both me and my students! A win-win!
We tried year round daylight savings briefly in the 70's. The main reason it didn't last was too many kids standing outside in the dark waiting for the bus in the morning. It wasn't viewed as safe, because it wasn't School days don't fit with daylight savings time in the winter.
