Thank God our officer wasn’t seriously hurt.
Around 1am, officers were investigating an abandoned car on I-70 eastbound near Broadway. Our officer had just re-entered his patrol vehicle when an apparent drunk driver hit the police SUV.
GREAT ARREST!! Today, our Drug Enforcement detectives conducted a search warrant in the Penrose neighborhood and seized these weapons, along with suspected crack cocaine, crystal meth, fentanyl and MDMA. An adult man was taken into custody. #SLMPD #SaferSTL

District 4 officers were called to the 2000 block of Mullanphy around 10:30pm after receiving multiple shots fired calls. Officers arrived and found a teenager who had been shot. The juvenile was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. #SLMPD

ARRESTED: Zaveon Mills is in custody. He was located in Wentzville.
With the help of @USMarshalsHQ, @SLMPD detectives took Zaveon Mills into custody last night after the Oct 19 murder of Kiya Hold-Biggs. He was arrested near Wentzville.
MURDER WARRANT: 21-year-old Zaveon Mills is wanted in connection to the murder of 21-year-old Kiya Holt-Biggs. Detectives believe Mills may have left the St. Louis area to avoid arrest. HE IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS! Call 911 if you see him. #SLMPD

District 6 officers executed a search warrant in the 8000 block of Riverview as part of an ongoing investigation into reports of animal cruelty. SLMPD officers rescued over 20 dogs at the location, all sustaining obvious signs of neglect and abuse.

This morning at approximately 09:40am a motorcycle officer was involved in a crash at 72nd and Troost. The officer has been transported to the hospital with critical injuries. Traffic Investigations and Accident Investigation Sections are at the scene investigating the crash.
