Leaving Twitter while it’s still Twitter. Everyone come follow me on Instagram with the same user name ✌🏼 it was fun while it lasted!

What classroom activities do you like to utilize to engage students and switch up lectures for AT classes? Looking for some inspiration for my Intro to SM, Therapeutic Interventions, and EBP courses! 🤩

SOS #ATTwitter does anyone have any recommendations on reliable resources for AT and athlete demographic info? I can find race and cisgender stats, but every other identity we occupy isn’t readily available from what I’ve been able to find. Guidance welcome 🤗

How come no one told me writing a dissertation proposal was so tedious? Okay okay, I should’ve known. But still crazy to actually go through it now. Bracing myself for the actual dissertation 🫠

Massive life update, and why I’m missing convention. Definitely not in a mental state for more small talk this week. instagram.com/p/Ctu4OAoIgvE/…

Hey AT fam, unfortunately I had to cancel my trip to Indy. I’ll miss seeing y’all there and the FOMO will be real. Have fun, learn a lot, and get allllll the stuff at expo 🫶🏼

Great CEU event opportunity!!! If you think you don’t need this, you’re EXACTLY the AT who could use it 🤩

Start off Pride Month by learning how to provide real inclusivity, diversity and equity for LGBTQ+ athletes! Join us for this free CE event on 6/1 at 7 PM. Register at chpswtemple.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_aa…

A lot of people are dedicated to the profession who will never end up in a NATA HoF. I would even venture to say they cannot be excellent at this job if they aren’t radical and vocal about the very real barriers to equitable healthcare a majority of our pt’s face 🤷🏻‍♀️

Special group. Each one of them is going way farther in life than HS state tournaments. Last night hurts, but there is unimaginable goodness ahead 🫶🏼🏐🪵🪓

Not the result we were hoping for, but proud of this team nonetheless. Special shout out to our seniors who have created a culture of hard work and helped build WHHSBVB into a competitive program over the last 6 years. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you guys #ChopWood

Political agendas make healthcare policies…healthcare is politics…legislation literally influences healthcare policy, I don’t know how else to make this clear, you cannot have healthcare without giving a crap about politics, Florida is prime example of how politics influences…

This post is unavailable.

I enjoy attending the conference and networking with ATs from across the country. But there is no way I’m attending a conference in Florida. I will boycott the Orlando conference. I hope others will join in solidarity with our diverse ATs and patient populations 🫶🏼 #NATA

We do our best 🥰🥰

As a mom as well as an AT, knowing that my own kids are well cared for by the AT staff at their school is a comforting feeling that I can't quite put into words. @MissNat_the_ATC @walnutathletics I am grateful for you guys!

That guy @txm35 showed up for this championship!!!! Proud (former) AT today 🤩 great work, T!!! 🙌🏼

1. @CB_ATC4 2. @CB_ATC4 3. @CB_ATC4 My entire AT journey has been guided and influenced by Con. I trusted him the day we met and our relationship blossomed from there. As a YP, I called him often asking what the heck I was supposed to do. He’s an integral part of my career.

Loving the responses to@our last post and hearing about you leaning on mentors. Send those people a shout! Who were/are your mentors as a: 1. Student 2. YP 3. Experienced AT

Far too many don’t know it! And not only do only about 50% feel familiar, but do those 50% understand how it influences their patients? Do they truly know how to approach using SDH as a part of their treatment plan? Familiarity with a concept doesn’t mean effective use!

50.8% of ATs reported being either minimally familiar or not familiar at all with social determinants of health. Athletic Trainers' Familiarity, Comfort, Knowledge, and Recognition of Social Determinants of Health. J Athl Train 2023; doi: doi.org/10.4085/1062-6…

Hey! It’s me!

Here's part 1 of my latest investigation: When Every Second Counts "There are recommendations but no requirements in place at the state level for school sports teams to have AEDs every time student athletes are practicing or competing." #WLWTInvestigates wlwt.com/article/examin…
