Wowee 🤯 - what a way to start @devopsdownunder Melbourne 2023! Thanks again @MircoHering

My new year's resolution was to write blog posts regularly again -how amazing it has been. Lots of old acquaintances have reached out, and some new people engaged with me. I had forgotten how amazing this community is and how much fun it is to put yourself out there. Let's engage

It is so cool to finally keynote #devopsdays Melbourne - I need to engage more with Africa, and then I will have the DevOpsDays Grand Slam of having keynotes on all continents (Lisbon, Jakarta, Melbourne, Toronto, Medellin). I love the #DevOps community ti.to/devopsaustrali…

One of the amazing things I experience in my career is when "Today Mirco" disagrees with "Past Mirco" - I guess it's called learning. I am working on a new blog post in the DevOps space and got reminded when I disagreed with "Past Mirco" on Agile ideas: notafactoryanymore.com/2020/02/28/cha…

At #DOES22 I had discussions that helped me clarify for myself why one-size fits all transformations fail - they don't consider the engineering principles behind transaction costs. I finally wrote up my A-Ha Moment: notafactoryanymore.com/2023/02/08/a-s…

After a bit of a odessey style journey my "House of Agile Quality" book has finally arrived - and with a note from the author no less. I am passionate about quality delivery in IT. I am looking forward to get into it. I will let you know my thoughts soon.

I will revisit transaction cost in IT and the power this brings to understand the dynamics in IT transformation in a new blog post very soon. Manufacturing is the wrong analogy for IT, but we can use the ideas to our benefit. Something i wrote earlier ow.ly/3EEk50MxEAG

This post on Testing seen as risk management has been burning under my fingers for a while. What if Testing was a business decision and not an IT phase, what if each extra test was a step to reduce risk, when should we stop? ow.ly/CSck50MxCXF
