President Joe Biden pardoning his son is a dangerous precedent—turning presidential pardons into a family bailout plan. Yes, we know Donald Trump would abuse pardon power regardless, but handing him a “both sides” argument on a silver platter? That’s a gift Trump didn’t need.
So Biden pardoned his son, who is known for suffering with substance abuse but led the "war on drugs" with the mass incarceration of Black and brown people?! Why am I not surprised? Rules for everyone else, but not for them. What happened to the "noone is above the law" nonsense?
