Farmers get around £2,500,000,000 a year in taxpayer subsidies and are being asked to contribute perhaps £200,000,000 a year in inheritance taxes Net taxpayer subsidy to farmers after the new IHT therefore around £2,300,000,000. 'Odd' that they never mention the handouts.
