The reason it splits Democrats is because there isn’t anyone who has the guts to stand up and say that genocide is not self-defense and murdering children is wrong, and then explain why it is bad. Over and over again if necessary. Pretty simple really.
The reason Israel is such a hard issue for Democrats politically is that it splits their coalition, but unites both the opposition and most Americans. So taking sides on it splinters their party no matter what, while trying to split the difference risks alienating most Americans.

"Voting lines" indeed. The 'on-demand mail voting' stems from a law created by the PA GOP led Legislature in 2019. They could have had normal early voting like many states, but they created a cumbersome process on purpose, now their amnesiac voters can bitch about something!
