NEW: Rick Scott just tried to attack President Biden by saying that “Canada has plenty of baby formula… but not the United States.” Reminder, Trump’s USMCA trade deal made it virtually impossible for Canada to export infant formula to the US.
In the last 24 hours, Republicans have voted *against* funding to fix the baby formula shortage, *against* investigating white supremacist domestic terrorism, and *against* making it illegal for gas companies to price gouge American consumers.
Trump's USMCA trade deal restricted formula from Canada— so we imported NO formula from Canada in 2021. This left us vulnerable to domestic shock, which hit when the Abbott plant was contaminated. Now Republicans are voting against Democrats’ bills increasing formula supply.
As a teacher, I can tell you we don't teach "CRT". The people and politicians that say we do.... are morons that haven't read the study. If we were to "indoctrinate" our kids, it would be to wear deodorant, stay off their phones, and try hard.
