Parts of Kwa-Zulu Natal experienced an outbreak of severe storms and at least 2 tornadoes affecting parts of Newcastle, Utrecht, Ballito, & Tongaat. In the latter tornado wreaked the most havoc at an informal settlement. There was not a single household that hasn’t been affected.

The #floor4africa project is a good step towards reducing migration from local communities in Africa. It also helps to reduce soil transmitted diseases common among rural dwellers. In #Nigeria the project was received with gratitude by the affected community.
