Last few months, I have come face to face with doctors who finished their training one year ago but some country on planet earth called Kenya has refused to give them the opportunity to begin their careers via medical internship. A young guy who beat all the odds from his…

A living wage accords all workers a decent status of living. Two months ago we had the doctors strike. Did we highlight how much is taken by the government on that 'BIG PAY' earned by junior doctors? @kmpdu

I hope some of the bloggers who were abusing doctors have learnt from @paulinenjoroge that there are bloggers wa ‘maana’ na wale wa 300/- per day. Same way we must stop this irritating narrative of equating interns of various professions to medical interns. Not that any is…

Training more doctors is a good thing ,employing then is the better thing ,and posting them and paying them is the best for the realization of Universal health coverage #health #UHC #Doctors #interns

Call it whatever you want, all I care about is that my members got a good deal and the interns will get 206k.

The delayed placement of medical interns for their mandatory #internship has left gaping holes in the healthcare system. Without our involvement, essential #healthcare services are severely disrupted, putting the lives and well-being of #Kenyans at risk. #DoctorsStrikeKE

@kmpdu led by @davji and co have been tremendous in safeguarding the junior doctors because they were also, at one point, medical interns. They understand the struggles of an intern. Thank you for standing with justice. #NoCBANoInternship #ImplementCBA2017 #DoctorsStrikeKE

Dear medics, Let's all take time to appreciate the KMPDU lawyer Edgar Washika who has continuously fought for us. He singlehandedly deconstructed 14 govt lawyers and helped uphold the legally binding CBA. Wakili you will always have a special place in the hearts of all medics.

CBA is a document that we have to protect with our life, blood, sweat and tears.

It's fascinating how medics have used LEGALISM to go over the hurdle of CBA. It's more Machiavellian than Machiavelli himself. A blue-print for sure, whatever the final outcome.
