A textbook away performance that. Disciplined defending , good game management, excellent work rate and two good finishes. It will be interesting to see how Manning gets the injured players back into the team, Twine in particular

We are pretty much 50 games and 10 million quid in under Manning yet we are lower in the league than when he came in, dull to watch, not scoring enough, defensively weaker and the pathway from the academy has been shut off. Struggling to believe in this process

Hello @RealGaryWebster . Just watching all minder episodes again. Do you have a favourite? Perhaps one early episode that you didn’t star in and a later one that you did?

He had his summer “on the grass” and his wishlist of players were all met. One win in six this season and two heavy defeats on the spin leaves Manning with some puzzles to solve and quickly. Our usual defensive nous has gone and his in game management so poor .

Getting rid of Matty James and keeping Williams looks increasingly like the wrong decision

When I should be buying the new albums by Pearl Jam and Black Keys but end up buying this beaut instead. Surely one of their best live releases? #fallfriday

I will be dropping 600 sheets on my ST next week for more of this front footed attacking football from our top 6 squad. Genuinely concerned for our prospects next season under Manning. If we are playing like this in Sept/Oct he will surely be a goner

Met my all time City hero this morning. What a great bloke

Another dull game and terrible result against awful opposition . No fight and it’s boring to watch. He now has a poorer win ratio than Nige, 9 points from 11 games. Manningball is taking us backwards. Thoughts @tinnion_brian @JonLansdown

So it’s 9 points from the last 10 games under Manning . That’s pathetic . The Southampton game and cup run has totally masked the overall performance and return which is relegation form

Sadly inevitable. We cannot play teams who sit behind the ball. Williams/ James both showing their limitations , cornick a league one player at best. A quick reality check for those who think we are on a play off charge. Max prevented an embarrassment

Went to see @hausedave tonight in Bristol. The songs were stripped down which added to the relaxed vibe of the evening. Really good stuff

Over the two games we just about deserved that . Time to start replicating these “behaviours” in the league games though . Take it onto Saturday and start doing it where it matters

The second half at West Ham and the euphoria that followed has somewhat disguised how dull city have been under “manning ball” lately. Brum, Millwall and Preston all average at best and we end up with 1 point and no goals. It’s pathetic

Just like Brum away, that was dull, no real quality and we are devoid of any threat let alone notable goal attempts . Their goal was sadly inevitable. Good luck to the Bristol City marketing team in selling half season tickets

It’s been 3.5 years since I started listening to this band. In addition to relentlessly listening to them daily, I have really enjoyed collecting the immense back catalogue. Anything else worth getting now? The live stuff seems more hit than miss #fallfriday

Fair play to City today. That was superb, a real eye opener in terms of performance and result against a top opponent. Mehmeti excellent and can take real confidence from the last two games into the rest of the season

The triple substitution got us back in the game but then the double substitution, taking off Knight and Sykes, took the game away from us and the momentum was lost. Bizarre management. This “top 6 squad” looking like a bottom 6 squad. Shows what a good job Nige did

Irrespective of the coach we are a mid table team which lacks a bit of quality in the final third. The behaviours that Liam refers to were already there under Nige. Until we get the recruitment right we will stay mid table . A huge overhaul has taken place to stay the same

Taylor Swift knows …. #fallfriday
