Anyone else have their characters eating amazing sounding foods? I just noticed mine are on every other chapter.
I got up super early today to work on my ms. The only problem, I've had the worst time concentrating on work today because my head is stuck in my fiction.
When you're writing and a new side character you had no idea even existed introduces themselves... for the second time... I swear, I had 30 pages of outline and notes before I started writing... Apparently, I'm a plotter with pantsing tendencies.
Hahaha some old fart just stuck his head in the door and said “your sign is obscene”, I replied “have a nice day”…lol 🤷♀️
When you see a post supporting pirating books... Come up with as many bullshit excuses as you want to, robbing writers sucks. You aren't actually entitled to anyone's art without paying for it.
I'm working on a first draft...was not planning on joining NaNo but I am thinking about pushing up my word count goals... I have to balance crit for my writers group...so not 50k...maybe 30k...still a stretch but it would be great to get that far in.
Working from home is more difficult when there's a crew of people removing trees outside
Writing 1st draft: this is so good! Reading 1st draft: oof...no. no. No. Editing 1st draft: this is so good. Reading second draft: ooof no Rinse and repeat until someone makes you stop

Seriously thinking I want to cut my hair off... It grows ridiculously fast anyway and it's basically a waste because I throw it up in messy buns and ponytails most days
I think I might be addicted to this story... I spent most of the day yesterday on it and opened it up as soon as I woke up today
Have you ever started writing something and it doesn't feel like it even came out of your head? Like the character took over and it went in a completely different direction? Or maybe my characters are just unruly...
I know where the character starts and where the wind up... It's the whole middle part that I'm not super clear on. So I guess art really does imitate life
If you spend too much time on the internet you will believe people are either Completely fucking awful Or The most amazingly lovely humans to ever exist There is no in between.
