This is making my brain hurt almost as much as the update made my brain hurt… (or what I thought was the update…)
The March 2024 core update is complete, having ended on April 19. The ranking feedback form is now ready at forms.gle/SWN1sckmUfQR8k… and will remain open through May 31. We’ve also updated our Debugging drops in Google Search traffic help page here: developers.google.com/search/docs/mo…
Speaking on one of the more interesting side elements we must consider as SEOs, super interesting talk by @sarah_presch on confirmation bias
Very excited to be on my way to #brightonSEO! Will be too busy grabbing freebies to network, soz
We are delighted to once again be sponsoring @brightonseo next week, and to celebrate, we have 8 free tickets to give away to our community! To be in with a chance of grabbing one, simply like and repost this post, and we will select the 8 lucky winners at random on Mon 22nd 🩵
Very interested in these improvements. Previously found the bubble chart quite difficult to use and gleam any new info from, so hoping its much more user friendly as I’m sure this could be a great tool, especially for more visual and interactive learners.
... and the 2nd one is about improving SEO with a Search Console bubble chart. Up and to the right! 📈 developers.google.com/search/docs/mo…
I know Google have said there will be no rollback on last months HCU, but has anyone seen any changes in traffic that suggest otherwise?
I think its really easy to misunderstand ‘helpful content’ by trying to make content that you think Google will find ‘helpful’ rather than trying to genuinely help users and solve their problems
I had a fab time at #brightonseo earlier this month. If you weren't able to come, no stress, @emmamalcolmson @laurendigitalpr and I have written up our top 3 talks featuring @JJHB92 @ThierryAlain @MegisanSEO @katyvpowell @abbjohno @copozade @zoeburke 😍 honchosearch.com/blog/brightons…
Going through pictures of last week to send to my mum and all I have is pictures of various drinks and shaun the sheep
Thoroughly enjoyed everyones favourite cowboy @JmFelip on link wrangling and sorting out those pesky internal links! #BrightonSEO
I’m getting deja vu… but in all seriousness I’m interested to see how this will play out! Done a lot of work on helpful content so hopefully Google thinks its helpful too…
The September 2023 helpful content update is rolling out with an improved classifier. It will take about two weeks to complete. We'll update our ranking release history page when the rollout is complete: status.search.google.com/products/rGHU1…
At #BrightonSEO tomorrow and not sure which talk to go to after lunch? Well I’ve heard really really good things about ‘Search and Social’ with @meanwritehook, @raysaddiq1 and er, @MegisanSEO 👀 Auditorium 2, its gonna be good.
Had to sneak in to catch @hannahlrbrady with her gorgeous fashion and slides talking all about content and using it across channels. Sometimes conference talks are good for learning, sometimes they help you affirm your knowledge, and this one is the best of both! #BrightonSEO
