I was at St Peters in Fourways and they were handwriting names saying the IEC is offline and that they will capture names later. Why manual at 07h30 .... most unprofessional .... scraps of paper too. @PaulivW
There were no electronic devices in use at my voting station at 11am this morning. I walked in, showed ID, had name crossed off voters role, thumb inked, 3 ballots received, voted, placed in 3 separate boxes, walked out. ID not scanned at any point.
