8th grade Science students competed in an egg drop challenge and over 15 eggs survived the drop from the second floor to the first floor. Way to go future engineers! Even Mr. Harbin got in on the fun and his egg survived also!

The Highlander Band wants to share our successes with you.  Over the past month, 5 of our 6 Highlander Bands traveled to UIL Contest.  The top 3 Bands traveled to the Falcon Concert Festival.  We also had a joint trip to Fiesta Texas with the McC Choirs.

The McCullough Charity League wrapped up another successful year with a food drive to fill the shelves at the Interfaith Food Bank. These students have fulfilled their chosen mission of "working together to come together."

Highlander Family, Science Fair Season 2023 is officially over! McCullough took 9 students to state and 3 placed. Making it to TXSEF alone is a major accomplishment! Nicholas Noring - 1st place!!!! Sanvi Bala - 2nd place!!! Clare McKenna - 3rd place!!

TWHS Air Force Junior ROTC presents their 7th Annual Drone Expo Sat., Feb. 4th, 1-3pm in our school cafeteria. This is a FREE, rain-or-shine event. The competition aspect of the event is open to any 8th-12th grader in CISD; the event itself is open to EVERYONE!

Let's play chess. The McCullough Chess Club sent out a challenge to the teachers and staff and the challenge was answered. We had several games between club members and staff. The students won most of the matches, but fun was had by all.

McCullough teams, clubs, and groups collected bikes for the Children In Santa's Dreams Toy Drive. The staff and students had a parade through the halls before school with all the bikes, scooters, and wagons of toys.
