For the people who are new here. Here is who I am: I filed an amicus brief supporting Gen. Flynn in the trial court and the DC Circuit, with many right of center lawyers, including Ken Starr, as my clients when Judge Sullivan refused to dismiss Flynn's case ; I did that work…
Yep. Me too. ❤️ Gorsuch is the sole libertarian on SCOTUS. Need more. ASAP.
Blanche & Sauer are solid picks for DOJ DAG & Solicitor General. Definitely approve. 👍🏻👍🏻

Don’t be dumb. 100 Senators will represent 100% of the population.
If anyone is curious, in the upcoming Congress: - Republican Senators will represent 45.12% of the US population - Democratic Senators will represent 53.60% of the US population - 1.29% of the US population will be unrepresented
It seems to me that I recommended this a while ago on one of our Spaces.
I think this is very likely. Unlike most of the federal workforce, DOJ has 94 Offices across the country staffed with lawyers - they are called U.S. Attorney's Offices. A very significant re-organizational question will be "Why are there so many lawyers at Main Justice in…
Sure, but my proposal would be that the DOJ sections become subject matter experts only in their areas and not be permitted to indict or try any cases in court. Let the U.S. Attorneys offices, which are throughout the country, do their jobs.
The reason we absolutely need to go after DOJ management now is because of things like this:
DOJ’s memo in response to the request to use the PATRIOT ACT on parents should have been: “State & local officials are fully capable of appropriately handling matters concerning free speech on the one hand & illegal conduct on the other. DOJ has no role to play in that process.”
Just so you know, the Public Integrity section at DOJ is the one that is staffed with the absolutely most obnoxious, self-righteous, Javertesque blockheads that there are at Justice.
“Watch me word salad BS all over the place while patting myself on the back for how awesome we claim to be.” In reality, DOJ is in drastic need of a complete overhaul.
The soul of the Justice Department lives in the integrity of its career professionals, in the independence of its investigations and prosecutions, and in the principles it brings to bear as it stewards the ideal of justice in America.
Except we DID elect him to go after the lawfare goons, Russia hoaxers & apologists, parent intimidators, & censorship thugs at DOJ & FBI.
Donald Trump won the popular vote and the electoral college. He can claim a mandate. But he'd better understand what that mandate was about. It was about boosting working people and dealing with the border, not appointing extremists to seek vengeance on his opponents.
OMG, he called Bolton “staggeringly dumb!” That is hilarious.
Nichols & Contreras are pausing J6 cases because why waste judicial resources on cases that are likely going away. A number of the other DC judges, however, are not. With the President-Elect saying pardons are forthcoming, it really makes no sense to keep working most of them.
BREAKING: A judge has granted @FreeStateWill’s motion to delay his Jan. 6 trial until after inauguration. Judge Contreras says he doesn’t want to waste time/resources of a jury for a case that may be moot if Trump issues pardons
Nichols is also the judge you may recall who got the section 1512 obstruction analysis right. He’s an excellent example of how putting smart conservative/libertarian judges on the federal bench results in the rule of law prevailing.
Each seat both adds and subtracts from the parties' individual totals. It's a closed 435 seat system. So, 221 to 214 is a difference of 4 seats.
Wow - unclear on the concept. No, Congressman, you've been elected to LEAD, not govern. Sometimes leading requires disrupting the status quo.
We need members who can govern. NOT disrupters. Not instigators. Not constant complainers. We have been given a mandate to govern. Not create chaos.
