Coolio. Copper copper copper! $ANTO.L #ANTO

Chilean miner Antofagasta agreed on Thursday treatment charges and refining charges for #copper concentrate at $21.25 a metric ton and 2.125 cents per pound for 2025, four sources with the knowledge of the matter told Reuters. The new agreement represents a drop of 73.4% from…

Great post. Proof of Work mining activities and stranded energy (of all kinds) is a match made in heaven.

The UK spent £20 million in a single day because it produced too much wind power. Bitcoin miners would have paid for that power, if the UK were not so blinkered in its approach and determined to remain in the nineteenth century. I encourage @Ed_Miliband and @StarkClimate to…

Excellent stuff.

LIBERO COPPER ANNOUNCES UPDATE TO COLOMBIA'S CADASTRAL RECORDS ENHANCING MOCOA PROJECT POTENTIAL $LBC.V tinyurl.com/24jya5hk

Attention #norilsk hunters! Aberdeen Minerals has completed its summer drilling program at the Arthrath project in Scotland. Looks pretty darn good to me, assays are to follow. The co. is private but $CAML.L #CAML have a large equity holding. aberdeenminerals.com/news/news-rele…

Wow! Never heard of Cartwright, but this is massive. The UK Pensions industry is mostly stuck in the 19th century.

BREAKING: Cartwright, a multi-billion dollar UK pension fund, just announced a 3% Bitcoin allocation As a percentage, this is 30x higher than the Wisconsin Pension fund's allocation, and the largest allocation of any Sovereign Fund in the world so far corporate-adviser.com/cartwright-cal…

This has been going on so long I had completely forgotten about it. A tortuous tail of doing business in the Wild East. Fingers crossed for ETG ... I seem to remember there were those who thought their acreage was better than where the actual mine is?

$ETG.TO buyout imminent? AFR news story reports released on Sunday night suggest so. What is Fair Value for Entree? $3? $4? ASX RIO: Rio Tinto racing to seal Mongolian copper deal over giant Oyu Tolgoi mine

UK windfall tax changes in #ukbudget not as bad as feared. The "first year" investment allowance remains in place. $SQZ.L #SQL up 10% in response. Overall budget is softer than I expected. Still mostly shite though

Sums up the state of these blessed Isles completely.

If we built just thirty of these, the UK would be able to power every single home in the country, sustainably and emission-free, for sixty years. We won't though, because we're the UK, and the last major infrastructure project successfully completed here was Hadrian's Wall.

Marvellous stuff. Drilling next year perhaps? Or is that dependent on a farm-in I wonder.

📣NEWS RELEASE | $SPC.V has released results from our summer exploration program at our 100%-owned, 650km2 Muskox Project in #Nunavut! Read why we see this as one of the best undeveloped district-scale opportunities around: https: bit.ly/47di15j #juniormining #nickel

Shorted 2 shares of $SMCI pre-market. Wowza. Should have done 4 or even 5. Thank you spread-betting.

Sorry Crypto ... kaspa-kii.org/about-us/ The brain-dead crypto market won't care about this, but I think it's very important. It's not just about adoption or use cases. It's about legitimisation, and positioning crypto tech as an infrastructure platform not just alt money.

Crypto aside ... Very few coins are real. $BTC is real, but the tech has serious limitations (very slow). Ditto $XMR. $ETH and the other "platform" networks are not up to scratch. This will become apparent over time. $KAS and $SPR are all you need. Watch and see.

Was this holding up drilling the Clearwater? Did they not say something about "access issues" earlier?

i3 Energy is delighted to have cemented our relationship with the WCFN and looks forward to working together as we advance our 2024 Clearwater drilling initiatives with collaboration and mutual respect. Announcement - WCFN industry... - Woodland Cree First Nation | Facebook

It's utterly amazing to me how many people (particularly media types) think that the upcoming Labour government in the UK will make a gnat's arse worth of difference to anything.

The London market (not just resource stocks) is showing signs of life. This is a relief, I was feeling like the bear market was terminal. If you want a copper play - Central Asia Metals $CAML.L #CAML has barely begun to re-rate. One of the lowest ASICs around.

$ITE.TO #I3E Q4 Production and Corporate update - bit.ly/3T9Qa0q 1. They are moving to Canadian quarterly reporting, including MD&A 2. Looking for "non-core disposals" and "strategic acquisitions" I guess they might sell the Simonette acreage and the nearby royalty?

$FPX.V $FWZ.V FPX Nickel and Fireweed Metals Both of these are cheap as chips IMO. For investors not speculators. Copper porphyrys are not rare, and it seems fantastically difficult to get them developed whatever the size and grade. Nickel and Zinc seem more doable, perhaps.

$FPX.TO FPX Nickel If you have an investment timeframe of more than 5 minutes this is looking better and better. The company is first mover on liberating a vast source of nickel which may prove to be cleaner and cheaper to extract than "legacy" sulphide/laterite deposits.

I am almost feeling like $BP and $SHEL might be investable again. They are gradually acquiring some cojones and edging towards telling the truth about the real energy future. Divis will also be growing, and no W/H tax for UK investors unlike all the other oil majors.
