Come on Brummies! Let’s clean up our city! If you see it, capture it and report it here: birmingham.gov.uk/info/20140/env…

A 52-year-old man from Water Orton, Birmingham, has admitted flytipping at a location near Coventry Rd. The court sentenced him to a 12 month community order, costs of £2,889 and forfeiture and destruction of the vehicle. We will always prosecute when we have evidence.

On #Nationalbadgerday THIS FACE! Dug from her sett, dragged from her bed, forced to fight for her life, against dogs. Her lifeless body then discarded. A fight she was never going to win Badger baiting-illegal since 1835, & still goes on Any info, please report 🦡 #OpBadger

Left: how humans see starlings. Right: how starlings may see each other - with bolder markings and more colour. The amazing world of UV vision, seen through the eyes of…. birds.

It was great to pop along to #ReUsers Wood shack in Sutton Coldfield. This is a fan charity where people can donate and purchase some great recycled ♻️ items - bikes, furniture, clothes, wood, you name it! Thanks to Billy for sorting out my bike seat and tyres! 🙌🏽

People with artistic talent blow my tiny mind. Beautiful.

This is how our amazing project artist @stevelilart created the stunning artwork that was presented to @jessstuartsmith last night by Hunnington Parish Council for her outstanding contribution to the @BibbeysWildFarm success story and farmland bird science and conservation 👏👌

Hi Matt. Everyone commented on how special this piece was and @stevelilart had other artwork on display which some attendees thought were photos because of the detail in the pencil work. We are so lucky to have Steve onboard 👌👍

The Essex coast is also getting busier by the day. Waders& wildfowl are arriving starved and exhausted, so please remember avoiding disturbances at any cost, whether from land or water, whether birds feed or rest (both equally important). Thank you 🙏🦆🦤#migratorymonday

I've said it many times but the views of our waders at #RSPBSnettisham have to be some of the best in the country, these close ups were all taken from the Knots Landing Hide @RSPBTitchwell

Key sites vacant in WM for @WeBS_UK: Edgbaston Res, Swan Pool, Ice House Pool, Plantsbrook NR and any stretch of the River Rea. All vacant sites can be found on the link below, small water bodies are very important and relevant for this! app.bto.org/websonline/sit… @WestMidsBirding

Interested in joining a satisfying, low commitment bird survey? We have WeBS vacancies, probably near you, and you just need to be able to identify and count the waterbirds you’re likely to encounter. Free online training sessions are available, see bto.org/community/even… 1/2
