My second finished build for today is for #JFFCat. Here's Airfix's 1/48 Tiger Moth in a very bright paint scheme. I might get around to rigging it at some point.
Today I finished off a couple of builds that I wasn't really happy with for a few reasons and I learnt from mistakes made doing them. First, this was going to be my submission for #JFFGreen but I realised there were no decals in the box and the custom rotor fold caused issues.

This was going to be my contribution for #JFFGreen but I've realised too late that there was no decal sheet in the kit. I've enquired about replacements but until this is resolved it'll have to stay like this.

I've been a bit busy to post recently, but progress has been made on the F-35B. The bulk of the paint and decals are done, just(!) the gear, various doors and weapons left. I made the 809 sqn decals based on the promo pic and am going for a full version of that scheme.#JFFLetterM
Getting close to the main paint job now. The pilot is finished and sealed into their office. I'm going to seal all of the open doors and then it's priming time. #JFFLetterM

I got a tip over on Insta to fix the gaps on the cabling and it would reduce the effect of the gap overall. Here's the before/after pics, I think it's made a difference and looks better now.
Swivel mechanism for the F-35b's exhaust done. I'm not happy with a couple of the seams that have appeared here but I can't think how to fix them as there's so much detail at risk there. Still, some of it will be buried into the fuselage so might not be seen. #JFFLetterM
Latest progress on the F-35B, main wheel bays finished and installed, the engine has been started and the fuselage is sealed up. #JFFLetterM
