New preprint! Mapping alcohol effects on bodily sensations, or how does it feel to be drunk? A nice placebo controlled study to obtain a topographical representation of intoxication. 🧵 osf.io/preprints/psya…

Welp, that's ERC Starting Grant submitted. Thanks to all those who helped me out with feedback and materials! What a trip. By far the most challenging thing I've done, but really happy with the process and how much I've had to learn to get there!

hi @ERC_Research what is your take on budgetting open access fees if I am totally against pay-to-publish models? Will I get penalised for leaving a 0 on my budget plan even if I list free repositories as alternatives?

Have you noticed that 'systole and diastole' in one study often don't align with the same ECG phases in another, like systole in study X being called diastole in study Y?🫀🧠 That’s confusing! Check the 🧵 below & our new preprint tackling this issue: bit.ly/4dvNEIC

Happy to share that my first paper with @AlexGalvezPol and @whoisgenaro is out as a preprint! 🎉 'Phase confusion: how inconsistent labelling obscures interoception research! 👉bit.ly/4dvNEIC Thread 👇

Happy to share our latest @TEAMlab_UdA research on HEP and respiration, now published in iScience! We showed that HEP amplitude increases during cardiac interoception are almost entirely due to HEPs recorded during exhalation. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
