I think this woman is brilliant. The average Zambian seems to prefer literal storytelling though w/ on the nose interpretation. I fear her filmmaking style may be a bit too implied 4 the average Zambian filmgoer. I recall baffled looks after credits rolled on ‘I Am Not a Witch’.

What happened that day? On Becoming A Guinea Fowl, a surreal and vibrant new film about the lies we tell ourselves from award-winning filmmaker Rungano Nyoni. Coming soon.

60 years strong. So excited for this year’s #TEDxLusaka and for the theme, #Ubuntungwa.

Went for a morning #ZambiaAt60 walk. With all our many problems & faults as a country, if I had a choice, yes, #Zambia #iChooseYou again & again & again. #HappyIndependenceDay #iLoveZambia

I also did not know it can snow to this level of snowing in South Africa. In my mind, it snows like this in Lesotho.

South Africa is wild we are never beating the allegations with Americans 🤣😂 i didn’t even know that lions can survive the snow 👌.

I love everything about this attitude.😍 It’s a choice.👌🏾

Getting bored in South Africa is a choice😩😂😂🤣

#HangaTwayoya, Mwata, Hanga Twayoya!👏🏾

Graced the Likumbi Lya Mize Traditional Ceremony of the Luvale people today in Zambezi District, NW Province. Witnessed the dazzling performance of the acrobatic Makishi masked dancers. A true celebration of Zambia’s diverse cultural heritage.🇿🇲 #HangaTwayoya
