This is so true. Been in the Logistics and Transport space for 20 years, I can tell you that 85% of my truck rescue missions have been within Ogun State. (Agbara, Ijoko, Ilaro, Lafenwa, Ota, Otto etc.) All due to bad roads tipping trucks over.
I started my teenage years in Ijoko Ota. I lived in Sango Ota and it's environs for little below 12 years. There's no sugarcoating it. No Nigerian road is as bad as those roads. In the history of useless Governors, Ogun State has the most useless Governors.
