I retweeted this yesterday and am doing so again today for emphasis. Behind the "front line" every hospital has managers working flat out to ensure the best possible care. Also lots of folks at organizations like @OntHospitalAssn and @OntarioHealthOH too. Thank you.

Spoke to several ppl this week, civil servants deep inside the machinery of govt & healthcare so central to the pandemic response that the whole thing would fall apart w/o them. They’ve gone full tilt for nearly 2 yrs, aren’t supposed to get recognition, but fully deserve it. 👏

Great to see support for more #NPs to serve residents without access to a physician, but some of the facts here are incorrect, NPs do not require supervision, are registered with the College of Nurses, can work independently @quintenews quintenews.com/2019/07/08/wil…

The recent announcement from @celliottability to remove several barriers for different categories of nursing practice is great news for patients, who benefit when our RPN & RN nursing colleagues are also supported to work to their full scope of practice @RPNAO @RNAO

Happy to celebrate the opening of a new nurse practitioner clinic with @VictorFedeli in North Bay. We're building on the success of team-based primary care models like nurse practitioner-led clinics, who will play a key role in our new patient-centred approach to integrated care.
