What’s plant health worth this year? West half sprayed Trivapro (left) vs east half generic 2 moa fungicide. 2 different varieties (showing up on both) and rows run east/west. With rapid drying conditions I think it’ll be big. We’ll know soon enough.
Same song different verse. Top 2 one pass vs bottom 2 got two pass fungicide. Showing up good on imagery as well
Customer sent me these. Trivapro vs untreated. Dryland, same variety, same field, just couldn’t spray next to the tower in the field.
Untreated vs treated. Same grower, same maturity, similar planting date. The treated on right also has a lot of rust in it but plant isn’t dying off. Fungicide wasn’t perfect but much better. I’ve also been seeing a lot of differences in varieties.
2 pass fungicide vs 1 pass. Showing up like clockwork. What’s it worth this year? Have over 50 side by sides in central Nebraska, we’ll know soon enough.
These fields were scouted with low # wbc egg masses. 70% ears have damage. So Rust taking over the plant. Several fields in eastern buffalo county.
Learned about mummified aphids, parasitic wasps, eggs and larvae today. Pretty cool
Southern rust continues to increase in areas throughout central Nebraska. It’s not too late to protect the plant.
Walked a seed plot and it’s amazing differences in canopy closure, leaf orientation etc. big tool in weed control. This field sprayed with Storen and no dicamba applied. Clay county grower has clean rows with Storen
