Is it just me or do they not televise as many college wrestling meets as they used to? I’ve got YouTube TV so I’ve got BTN, etc. I just feel like I used to see them on tv more than I do now.
Which style of wrestling is harder? Not which one you enjoy or like more but which one is harder? I feel like controlling (folkstyle) another person is harder than turning them (freestyle).
Apparently there are people out there that actually believe Carter Starocci was offered the OSU job before DT but declined to stay at PSU. If you actually believe that then you have a very little brain. 🧠

If a wrestler failed a PED test I feel like people would discredit everything they did because it’s such a physical contact sport whereas I don’t feel that if a boxer (i.e. Ryan Garcia) fails a test that people are as quick to write off his accomplishments as being illegitimate.

Who is Caitlin Clark the equivalent of in college wrestling? Who brought this type of excitement and brought viewers that didn’t normally pay attention? Anyone? Gable Steveson maybe?
Should there be more than one state champ per weight class in a given state for high school? It triggers me whenever I see multiple “state champs”. Wrestling is an individual sport, you can’t have multiple people in the same weight walking around claiming theyre the “state champ”
Cael won titles at 184,184,184,197…the same as Aaron Brooks. We thinking that if they wrestled in college that Cael wins every time? I would love to have a time machine to go back to Cael’s college days and pair them up.
Which potential high school rule change are you most in favor of?
Regarding the potential HS rule changes…I fully support the in bounds/out of bounds rule needing only one point in bounds. I’m not a fan of the 3 point TD or the 4 point NF. And those asking about riding time, the table workers could never successfully manage that. Nightmare!
#NFHS rules comittee is expected to make some changes for the 2024-2025 high school season, here’s what is proposed: • Out of bounds: just a single point of contact on the mat to continue wrestling. • Near fall: 2 count = 2 pts, 3 count = 3 pts and 4 count = 4 pts. 3)…
Assuming they were the same size and weight, if you locked Bo Nickal and JB in a cage until only one man came out alive that man would be Bo Nickal. End of story.
Definitely the most underrated dynasty in recent memory, but hard to put them above the @Patriots DEBATE ⤵️⤵️
