Took part in the ongoing farmers’ protests against an upcoming Ethanol plant in my hometown, Tibbi, Rajasthan. The proposed plant will draw 6000 KLPD (60 lakh litres of water per day) water from the ground as well as the Indira Gandhi Canal.

Mind boggling how erasing the role of #JawaharlalNehru is projected as “decolonisation.” Nehru was THE passionate advocate of full independence even when his own father Motilal favoured Dominian Status. Scholar Harold Laski said : “Swaraj has entered Jawaharlal’s bloodstream.”
This is their rewriting of Indian history, though the claims are that they want to de-colonise the history writing. This is one sample of de-colonisation, many more to follow.
