Our advent reading group starts this Sunday 1 Dec! Led by @GraceREThomas, the group will meet every Sunday in December after the 10.30am service to study the book, In Step with God by @richardlittleda All are welcome!
With so many people around, I avoided recording them on video and just captured the happy sounds. We had a truly joyful time—thanks to everyone for their efforts, especially Cheryl, the churchwarden and school governor of @StJohnsThornham . @DioManchester @BishMiddleton
I really enjoyed spending time with the @RochdaleRedwood students helping to maintain the churchyard, if my schedule allows. One of them touched my heart—when he saw the churchwarden cutting trees on his own, he decided to help him. @ManDioEco @MDGFTEAM @DbeManchester

The choir sang at the first ever Slattocks Light Switch on! The new Christmas Tree, organised by Councillor Billy and Cheryl a governor, was lit and the community came together to celebrate. Well done to our choir who sang and danced so enthusiastically!
