Nunca olvidaré mi primer día de guardia en NY. Oí por los altavoces del hospital “Dr. Marcos, I see you”, yo gritaba “I don’t see you!” (yo no le veo), hasta que un sonriente compañero me alertó que me llamaban del ICU (Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos) que en inglés suena ai si iú.
If you don’t want to be disappointed, keep this in mind. Don’t expect much from people. Be prepared to have the most unexpected people let you down. Don’t get too attached to this life. Nothing lasts. Keep your faith in the Almighty. He’s the only One who has your back always!
